Feedback on Film from teacher

My teachers said that there was an issue to my input into the project. They said to use no zooms and the 3rd person didn't really work.
Mise en scene- when there was a mirror in the bedroom/classroom.
Length of shots are too long so they need to be shorter to create tension.
They said to cut out the dialogue.

Release date USA was on November 08 then moved to April 09.
Advertising budget cut- backing Benjamin Button and revolutionary Road. They had more of a chance of winning an oscar.
